Resignation and Transition Dilemma in a Neglected Department

I recently resigned from my position as the manager of a neglected department. After a year of requesting additional staff, I decided to give up. I have two weeks remaining on my one-month notice, and they've just assigned an entry-level employee for me to train. They've mentioned that I'll have a replacement manager by next week. I'm in a challenging spot since I lack the necessary staff to assist with the training, but at this point, I'm not particularly invested in the situation.
