Resignation Letter (any thoughts?)

Dear boss, Firstly, let me thank you for giving me the opportunity for remote work for the past three years. It has truly been a blessing to be able to work at home. Unfortunately it is time for me to move on. Since (husband) is retiring soon, I must look for a job with health insurance and benefits. The past few days of being out of my medication have given me a harsh reminder of what life will look like without them. I wish you the best in finding another assistant, and in all your future endeavors. Sincerely, TupperwareParTAY Additional context- I am an independent contractor, so I guess I don't need to really resign? just say “I quit?” I have always given 2 weeks notice before in a job so I don't know. I also am exhausted. It's only 4 hours per day, but it's from 4 am…

Dear boss,

Firstly, let me thank you for giving me the opportunity for remote work for the past three years.

Sincerely,

TupperwareParTAY

Additional context- I am an independent contractor, so I guess I don't need to really resign? just say “I quit?” I have always given 2 weeks notice before in a job so I don't know. I also am exhausted. It's only 4 hours per day, but it's from 4 am to 8 am and I would really like to sleep in again (petty af, I know). I'm making $10/hour with a master's degree and I think I can do better.
