So I just resigned from one of the most toxic jobs I have ever had, ironically it is with the Federal Goverment. Surprising, right?
The job consist of the following:
○ A part-time position with full-time expectations
○ Constantly on call; not getting paid for it
○ Gaslighting management; will flat out lie to your face; awful out-of-touch boomer management, “nobody wants to work” mentality, realizing that nobody wants to work for THEM
○ Imorale and improper practices; blatantly ignoring written policies, lying on administrative paperwork, lack of integrity
○ Severe understaffing; employees doing the job of 3 people because of budget cuts
○ Always pissed off patrons because they aren't getting the service they got before budget cuts were made
○ Toxic work environment; employees have full on breakdowns and are crying at work daily. Management then will tell us in meetings how “fun” our jobs are
I could go on but I am just glad to be done. This country is doomed if this is how our goverment operates.
