Our dept is skill trades. We have more responsibilities than any other skilled trades in the building. Yet were all the same pay. Also they just keep adding shit that wasnt what I was hired originally to do. I was hired in one dept to work on one set of machines. Now were covering other depts shit they dont wanna do. We have the lowest man power in the plant also. My boss is a yes man and just keeps piling on bullshit and wont address the most important issues like , manpower,tools,parts, wage reflection of responsibilities, and favoritism. We really need a union here but this is an anti union place in an anti union state.
Almost to the point of sitting down with hr to get my job description and responsibilities in writing. My original offer letter says “reports to dept manager” but that's just a blank check for fuckery.
Just wanted to rant, fuck corporate America and its automotive industry.
