I work for a city-run transit company (union) that just ratified a new contract. The contract covered the last three years and we received raises of 1.5, 1.5 and 2 per cent respectively. Since our membership voted to ratify this new contract, we're all owed a significant amount of back pay….which the City says we'll get in March 2024. Our union is obviously pushing for a faster turnaround. The disrespect is astonishing.
