Rude- ass ignorant manager feigning niceness in my final week.

Long story short, my manager completely blanked me for close to three months while I was looking for reassurance that my contract was being renewed (contract worker). I could tell the writing was on the wall, but she left me completely in limbo and needing to approach the higher-ups to find out what was going on, when it is completely in her remit to hold regular 1:1 calls with me and be a supportive manager who should want me to do my best and be able to advance my career at this company.

I was ignored by her for between late May and last Friday, before being delivered a killer blow by her manager.

This is my final week and she's, since May, ignored three emails and three separate Slack messages from me. On Friday she sent an email with her manager in CC to “thank you for your hard work this past two years” and “sorry for not getting back to you sooner this past month” (actually it's been three months and you're supposed to be my manager).

Her manager I'm sure has no idea she's basically ghosted me for so long and I'd like a give a subtle dig in my response to her.

What are we thinking? Perhaps something like “I'm happy to hear of your appreciation for my work and relieved that your email account appears to be working properly again”.

Or maybe even a “It's great to finally hear back from you since I've tried to get in touch with you via email and Slack numerous times since May”.

It actually doesn't need to be too subtle, just not incredibly rude and it's fine. She's abroad and I'll never need to deal with her or this company again.

Thanks for any tips!
