I understand that recently salary/wage/overtime eligibility has changed July 1st at the Federal Level,; what I am having difficulty understanding is what are the new stipulations? Like for example if I lived in Michigan, USA and I was given a Salary of 40K a year am I eligible for OT? I have tried to contact government reps but they do not have a phone number and are slow. If anyone could help point me in the right direction….or let me know the exemptions, etc.
