There's a local business i really want to work at because of the location, benefits and vibe but their salary offer is half what i earn and less than 1/3 of what i can earn by moving companies.
Because the CEO posted the job ad and i would be reporting directly to them, on the weekend i emailed them expressing my interest and if they could negotiate the salary but no reply yet.
I was thinking that after they replied i would pitch on how i could bring much more value to justify them matching the salary to what i could earn elsewhere. Do i treat it as a red flag and forget about it or do i email them my pitch?
