I quit my job at a security company today. I was asked to attend what would be my 3rd meeting in less than a month. I’ve only been with the company 9 months at this point. Ever since the first meeting where I was yelled at by the company president for trying to explain something he misunderstood, I have had horrible anxiety attacks going into work every morning. I went into the 2nd meeting with hopes of it not going the same way. Boy was I wrong. Mr. company president nearly jumped out of his chair yelling at me for saying “I don’t understand the problem if my customers are happy”. Another meeting was scheduled for this morning. I texted my supervisor and told him I am coming in to drop off my vehicle, work clothes, and equipment. Signed a letter of resignation and left with a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I’m not one to quit a job without having another one in place, but I refuse to be yelled at like that by anyone ever again.
