I work with a pretty horrible girl, constant complaints from peers about her, volunteers, and customers, she puts the word bitch to shame. She's the biggest “see you next Tuesday” I've honestly ever met. Now whatever this animosity is has been building between her and I since I started. Not sure what I did, but it came to a head.
Last week we were left alone together after everyone called out. She made her dislike of me absolutely certain, completely belittling me, and treating me like I'm an idiot. If she is stressed she takes it out on whoever is around. Unfortunately that was me. For 8 hours. I then found out that before I walked in on Wednesday, someone asked her if I was moving to full time soon because she was complaining of being alone.
She said “God I hope not. This is my only time away from her so I told my supervisor if this animosity between us continues im going to HR. According to my supervisor, she was told countless times to check her attitude. (But according to my supervisor I'm doing great at my job and I'll get even better with time. So im not as incompetent as my coworker has been treating me)
She also doesn't do her job anymore. She puts everything on me or other coworkers and goes back to shoe shopping or talking with other colleagues. We get 30 mins for lunch, she takes 45.
I saw on the schedule my manager isn't here Thursday of this week, so that would leave this girl and i together again.
Well who else isn't going to be here either. Me! I'm not going to be berated and treated like garbage. I'm putting in applications elsewhere and hoping to find something remote. I understand horrible coworkers are everywhere but no one should deal with being uncomfortable at their place of employment.
