Last week I discovered an Indeed posting for my job. After leaving work yesterday, I started to get copies of emails sent to a generic address, some of which included Indeed applications. Five people applied to my job since last night. Most have little to no experience in our field even though two to three years of experience is required. They’re in college or recently graduated and have certifications. One of them graduated from the same college I did. There is another who has way more experience than I. I don’t know why he would be interested in a job that pays a maximum of $17.50 a hour.
