I put in an hr complaint against my immediate boss 2 weeks ago after a third strike (in my opinion)
Her offenses were:
1. Boss called me stupid in front of a customer and then the customer told her to apologize after it was revealed that my boss made the original error.
2. Boss misread an email and thought I had not made my required sales calls. She overreacted (which is her biggest flaw) and came up and yelled at me in front of customers and coworkers.
3. Coworkers give money for a small birthday gift for anyone in our office having a birthday. When my birthday came along, my boss gave me a dress she could not return that was 8 sizes too big for me and insisted I wear it to work. She kept the money collected from other coworkers to reimburse her for the dress she couldn’t return.
My boss has not looked me in the eyes nor really spoken to me since HR contacted her. HR stated that I might not hear from sometime what is being done to rectify the situation. I told my boss’s boss about this and she said there were not any openings at other locations but stated that she did not want to ‘loose me.’
HR and my boss’s boss have not responded at all to my email. I did find out from a coworker that my boss knows Ive put in my 2 weeks.
