Probably a common topic on this sub/related subs. What I can't figure out is that a lot of unpaid/very low paid internships ALSO require significant previous experience, so even those aren't really entry level a lot of the time. Genuinely asking- where and how do companies expect people to get entry level experience and skills? What is the expected way to get training and first experience? Are young professionals supposed to teach themselves everything now? I'm confused.
