I’m so sick of working 40 hours a week making someone else astronomically wealthier while I just make enough to pay my bills and occasionally have some fun, and my job is also extremely meaningless and I can’t bring myself to pretend to care about it anymore. So recently I’ve been thinking a lot about cam- work/ virtual sex-work, I’d be my own boss and would really only have spend a few hours a week filming the rest would be editing and marketing which I think actually sounds kinda fun, as does the filming part lol. But anyway, I’m posting this because I wonder if it really is a good way to escape the slave march or am I just convincing myself of this because I feel like I don’t have many other options? and as a woman I’m also struggling with the societal shame that comes with this kind of work and how I would tell my family and how it would effect my self-image.. so I’m asking I guess if anyone here has made this decision and can give any advice? And maybe also if anyone in general thinks they have a helpful opinion because I just want to make sure I really consider all the pros and cons before committing to it.
