I was terminated in April from a big bank in Canada. Few days before termination my branch manager made a comment about me failing a mutual funds lisence exam on the first go. She said “I don't think you're smart if you failed the exam at the first go.” I felt extremely hurt because as a single mother to 3 teens and a new comer to Canada I was juggling more than I thought I could and could barely keep afloat. My daughter was going through a suicidal episode. Anyhow, I got terminated. I have a lot of resent towards my former branch manager and was wondering if I should email the regional vice president and let him know what she said and how I felt at the time and still feel. Is it worth it or not. Hmmmm… Thoughts are appreciated!
