This person I didn’t even realize I had to work with until recently, (I’m basically her secretary now) loves to make me look dumb. I’ve been on the job for 3 months, zero training and she has been for 27 years.
She loves to send me vague emails with a ton of acronyms that she knows I have never seen. When I ask my colleagues they have no idea wtf she’s talking about either and when I ask for clarification, her replies are even more confusing. She just refuses to speak plain English. She invites me to virtual meetings with clients and always makes sure they know that I suck and she’s a master. I’m embarrassed and the clients are super uncomfortable. My colleagues are clearly avoiding her and as the new guy I have no choice but to deal with her shit. It’s awful, pay is low but at least I get to work from home lol
