this morning i have an interview for a cardboard box company. it's an internship which will center around the maintenance of the machinery.
i have a slight back problem, stemming from scoliosis and some other muscle inflammation, which makes it hard to stand for long periods of time. i will need some sort of stool or chair in order to be comfortable and not in pain. i am capable of standing, it just begins to hurt after a little while.
my question is this. should i disclose this need during my interview? i know it is considered a reasonable accommodation, i just worry they will deny me the job based on this alone. should i wait until i actually get the job to ask for it?
