My company cut a few positions due to loosing 2 big clients.
Even tough its a different Department and mine is unaffected as of yet. I am worried because the people who got fired where remote workers, long time employees. Just like me.
They we re kinda thrown under the bus and did not expect to be the ones fired neither did I.
Now my question is should I reach out to HR and check with them how safe my Job is? I feel its a close relationship or the closest I ever had with Management. I really like my Job. I also just turned to be a father of a beautiful daughter last month. For that reason i want to be safe and months ahead. I want to sleep well again and be safe about my income. I Hope you get my point and have some advice for a 25yr who has not that much experience work related yet. Thank you.
