They pay women less than men. Every position has a fixed wage which is different for men and women. Seems like a no-brainer, right?
What I'm worried about are the women still working there. Very male-dominated place, more than a 100 employees, less than 10 women, and probably cause it's a male-dominated, the pay is one of the best they could get within this area with their education. For me it was a temporary place before I went back to uni, but they depend on it and I'm afraid it may affect them. For one, the boss is an asshole who said maybe they “shouldn't hire women then” when my sister went to ask for equal pay, and another, they are in a slump orders-wise, with people getting free days and constant rumors of lay-offs. I'm afraid they might see this as a reason to get rid of them.
