Should I send that final email or walk away?

I have secured a new job with a start date. This is an amazing job opportunity and I feel blessed. The current job I’m at is toxic, and I will tell you my top reasons why I feel this way. The manager gossiped about me about how he believes I stole something. I heard this from an ex employee who left the company. He is also not friendly, he barely speaks to employees talks bad about other employees to ME as a supervisor and does not create a welcoming and positive work environment I feel. I had another employee tell me in secrecy this same manager was overheard saying something about my shirt being dirty but I wear makeup and have a brown complexion so it may smudge on the collar area from time to time.

I also ignored this and never confronted him because it’s hearsay.

He also monitors the camera ALL the time which are located in a common area (back office) and I’ve walked in on him reviewing them for small things like trying to figure out who was here during a small error. Like who did it instead of using it for actual emergencies or work productivity.

There is also a HIGH turnover here, I’ve been here for two years as a supervisor have great reviews and overall great attitude and reliable.

Ok so I put my two weeks in which was a little nerve wrecking and with all the info above I still chose to remain professional and kept it to basically I found a better opportunity. He kept digging and asking is there a reason why I kept saying no and basically “there’s no point in bashing you I want to keep it professional”. He asked me where I’m going next and I said I would like to keep that private.

In my resignation letter I kept it very short, here is my last working date and k also added “I’m pursuing a more positive and professional work environment”. He came up to me during my shift and asked if I was unhappy here and what I meant by saying a “more professional and positive work environment” and I told him I’m not going to go back and fourth I wrote how I felt the letter is short and to the point and he asked me if I could change it and reword it and I thought thisnis exactly what I meant UNPROFESSIONAL and I told him I’m not changing it. Because there is a high turnover rate he might be worried but that is not my problem.

The next day toward the end of my shift I walked in on him staring at me on camera there is a large monitor and there was no customers there just me at the counter I asked him “are you monitoring the cameras?” And he said no but I saw him watching me? Which I feel is abuse of power, disrespect to my privacy and there was no reason to be watching the cameras! Overall I spoke with my other supervisor and told him for the remaining time put me all night shifts so I don’t have to see him but now im wondering should I message HR and the owner of this business and let him know about this managers behaviors for constructive criticism or should I let it go leave a review on indeed and look forward to my next job? I’ve kept quiet and professional this whole time!!

What do you guys think? Thank you for reading.
