this may be a bit dramatic but im feeling burnt out and fed up of meeting the wants and whims of other people. my job is easy peasy in its essence – i like a client facing role and i enjoy helping people. but factor in middle management / upper management’s power trips over being in office, i’m straight up just exhausted and feeling an urge to quit and tell everyone to go fuck themselves. im just so sick of being so content with my work and getting everything done to meet expectations but then feeling constantly dicked around and made to sit in a chair in an office so my boss can keep an eye on when to swoop in and micro manage. feel free to check my entitlement here, but i want a little freedom from this ridiculous 9-5 monotony. i want to live for gods sake i can’t do this forever
