A coworker who’s expressed pity for a boss who’s been under a lot of criticism from my coworkers just handed me a boss appreciation card to sign because she wants to cheer the boss up. I have no idea what to write in it. On the one hand I’m not very enthusiastic about this boss, but on the other I don’t want to end up with a target on my back. Any thoughts on how to handle this?
