I need 9 hours of sleep, 8 minimum, to function. Pretty much every job I’ve had has started too early and it’s incredibly hard to adjust. I’m just not tired enough at night to be asleep by 9 or 10 PM. I get sleep deprived and can barely function and have a shitty day.
Last job I pretty much had a physical breakdown. I thought I was sick but in retrospect I know I was sleep deprived. Anyone else just never able to get enough sleep for work? Feels like the system is geared for people who need less sleep.
