I've been working from home with a small IT business for about 5 years now and they've grown enough in revenue that all the “small business” stuff is going away. I'm really just angry.
I'm angry that they added monitoring software to everyone's devices without telling us. Even those of us who've been there from the start. Because fuck trust, right?
I'm angry they're taking away little perks like paid lunches and decent schedules.
I'm angry that the owners have distanced themselves from the rest of the employees like we're fucking peons that aren't good enough to even talk to directly.
Mostly, I'm angry that I have to even have a fucking job. I hate being a capitalist slave. I hate it. I didn't ask for any of this.
