So I got written up by the stand in manager for my “appearance”

I work for a well known restaurant company, BJs, and today there was a former bartender in charge as manager who is not officially a manager. She wrote me up today and one of the things was for appearance because she claimed my face was puffy. I told her that was unfair since today I didn’t wear my usual makeup. is this legal? she also wrote me up for dishonesty since I didn’t tell her that someone gave me their silverware to use. Is there legal grounds for any of this?
