So, they are outsourcing what used to be a US based position. They offered me 50% less money which is still 9x national average salary where I am from. I asked for 100% salary and they said I live in a low CoL area, so I told them they got it wrong.They have a high cost of operating business and value proposition is the same.
Until we all start doing this, they will just keep outsourcing. Even the playing field if you can afford to. If they are outsourcing to cut costs, let's all work on incrrasing their 'costs' (what a degenerate way to call people's livelihoods).
If this is a US problem, well, let's make it a global one when working with US based companies.
