SOS My boss just asked me to justify un-logged work/activity hours

Please help, I’m kind of freaking out, and I do not know what to do to rectify this situation. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My boss sat me down to say that they wanted to have an uncomfortable conversation. They explained that when they were auditing the time cards, they noticed discrepancies in my work product and the times I clocked in/out. They sent me time cards in an email and has requested I provide proof of work product. It’s a total of 45 hours…. we have one main platform, but we sometimes use email, other sites, etc. It’s an office job. I have so far proven over half of the time. I have so far proven over half of the time. However…

One day, I worked normally for 6 hours. At night, I logged 6 hours until after midnight.
– I was cooking dinner and immediately feel asleep… no proof

On another day, I logged 3 hours at night.
– I did not work, no proof

Another day, 5 hours
– few emails, about 30 mins total, but no significant proof otherwise

Last day, 7 hours
– I have things throughout the day, emails etc, but nothing significant to prove an overwhelming amount of time was used for work

I understand that I’m at a point where I made my bed and it’s likely my time to lay in it, but for the times I did not do anything, I’m not sure if I should say any feedback of “no work product” or leave it blank and discuss in person

Also, how do I handle a conversation like this in person once I’m back Monday? I was advised to say “I can understand how you see I’m not working up to standards and devoting adequate work time. That’s not the employee I want or intend to be, and want to rectify this situation however possible.”

This is a small company, only 15 people, and everyone is close knit. My main concern is 1) ashamed for disappointing these people and 2) they had to let go of a couple people during COVID when positions were salaried and people were not doing anything (this is why we have the time sheet now…)
