I just turned 28 today and decided that I’ve had enough of the carrot dangled over my head.
I have a meeting with my manager tomorrow to discuss my valuation to the company and why certain verbal promises regarding compensation have not been met while I’ve met and exceeded my performance expectations.
If it goes well, awesome.
If I’m still left with the answer being no definitive timeline (it started as end of Q3, to end of Q4, to middle of 2024) or “maybe”…well I’ve got enough savings to not care about working for a while.
