After I accepted the offer and was working out the start date, I asked how the 35 hour work week worked. Is it 9/5, 8/4 both with a one hour lunch? The future boss said she usually gets in at 8:30 but no one takes lunch. The job is WFH 3 out of 5 so that’s fine but now I’m worrying about the culture. I was looking forward to being back in the city and having lunch dates again with friends like the pre pandemic old days. Any thoughts? I’m thinking I’m gonna make a new culture and take lunch!
