I did the math for my organization's buyback and dividend totals for just last year, and divided it by the number of global employees. Oof, I shouldn't have done that. Oftentimes when you math out the large numbers to a population in question, the number is negligible, but this came out to roughly $80,000 per employee (give or take, as employment numbers jumped around a bit depending on the source, but nothing would change by more than a few thousand).
That's right around what I make and it's difficult to comprehend for every person, there's a me worth of profits just being gifted to the rich and used for market manipulation. So, there's that.
