Stop congratulating people on getting a job.

They didn't win anything. They spent years, even decades, earning it. “Congrats” is like saying we should be thankful to the company for allowing us to make them more wealthy … If anything, we should congratulate the company. They won a great employee through the ATS lotto. Not to mention the candidate happening to see and apply to the role early enough that they were noticed. Further, it's them who should be thankful. Someone who's dedicated their life to mastering the exact set of skills they need is willing to put up with them.
