Hey guys, just wanted to come on here and see if this is a common thing?
I was referred by a friend to her moms company. I applied yesterday; this morning they called me back and to my surprise, they immediately jumped in to conducting the first over-the-phone interview, which I completely bombed because I didn’t hardly have any time to prepare and I get incredibly nervous under pressure. Miraculously, I made it to round two, and me and the interviewer and I scheduled a time to interview on Thursday.
Lo and fucking behold, another person from the company called me again in about two hours and launched in to interview round two! I had done some research about the company between the two interviews, but to be honest, i was working all day today and was planning to do the bulk of my interview prep tomorrow.
Is this the norm? I feel so shitty about how badly I did but I have never encountered this before.
