Hello I am 22 (F) . I work as a gov contractor. On Friday last week I got sent to HR and they had suspended me for this week so they can investigate complaints about me . I figured out 2 people who reported me . One was my reference and a former friend of mine outside of work . Backstory to that I had worked at her site for about a month , 10 days in she stopped talking to me and out of respect incase I did something wrong I gave her space . Towards the end I sent her a text asking her if we could made amends and asked her what I did wrong . She responded somewhat positive saying she just needed space and we could still be friends . In person nothing changed . I ended up going back to my original site and a month later she sent me a lengthy text telling me all the reasons she didn’t want to be friends . I never texted her back . I ended up blocking her number and off social media . It has been about 6-7 months since then . I lack any information about this and my HR has not finished investigating but I believe she reported me for harassment? I already typed up a timeline of me and her with MANY screenshots of proof of our interactions with appropriate date and time stamps . The other one is a gay gentleman in my original site . He had been having a whole ordeal with another gay gentleman in my department, and for some reason he had reported many things such as intimidation, bullying, discrimination of sexual orientation, and threatening to cause bodily harm . So first and foremost, I definitely don’t have any problem with the LGBTQ community I have surrounded myself with many from the community whether it be my landlords , roommates, co workers , friends , and even my own family . So I was appalled seeing that in an email sent to me . The threatening to cause bodily harm sent me into a spiral. This gentleman as the weeks went on with him and the other gentleman, would brag how he an army veteran could beat the other guy up because he knows how to fight and how he’s killed 8 people in combat . On the other hand I grew up in a suburban neighborhood with my mother and respected veteran father himself . No history of violence of any sort growing up . I’m also 5’0 and not too quite in shape , not so intimidating.. anyways me and this gentleman had a neutral relationship. My other co workers and I tried not choose sides between them because it wasn’t rlly our business. But he was so upset that no one stepped up for him and seems like he reported me and some others . I have a timeline of interactions we’ve had typed up and everything I’m being accused of was actually from other people. Thankfully I’ve provided witnesses as well that will be getting interviewed . Do you think I’ll win this ?
Side note : former friend and this gentleman seemed to have been in talks to do this to me
