(SWM/54) I want to leave the FT workforce. How can I get Medicaid benefits?

I've worked like a dog my entire adult life for over 35 years now. I'm tired of the rat race, and I want nothing more than to drop out of this fucked-up system. The only reason I'm still working full-time is for the health insurance that most companies offer their employees. I'm in very good health, but a catastrophic accident or illness would put most people into bankruptcy, so it's wise to have coverage For the last 10 years, I've acquired 6 acres of land and built a small cabin that's completely off-grid. I could get by just fine on $300 a week. Once again, the only thing stopping me is lack of health insurance.…

I know nothing about this program. Any advice would be appreciated.
