Talent Acquisition Lied About Benefits…What Can I Do?

Here is my situation timeline in a nutshell (US): – Applied for a project-based (2 year) role and contacted by Talent Acq. for this job in August 2023. – After a few interviews, I received an offer verbally. I asked when I received it on the phone if it includes FULL benefits. Here is my situation timeline in a nutshell (US):

– Applied for a project-based (2 year) role and contacted by Talent Acq. for this job in August 2023.

– After a few interviews, I received an offer verbally. I asked when I received it on the phone if it includes FULL benefits. She said yes, it includes full benefits following 3 months of hire (so I could apply after 90 days).

– I received the contract (written offer). I work in contract logistics so I 100% understand the importance of reviewing the details of your contract, which I did. In the contract, I only saw medical benefits included (not vision and dental).

– When I called the TA woman back, I asked her about that. She said that previously, project roles DID NOT include benefits, but now they do, and the company documents were not updated. She confirmed again I will receive benefits and said she would send me the benefits guide.

– Once I received the 2023 guide, I once again saw that project employees do not get full benefits, so I emailed her asking her again. She re-iterated in 2 emails I will receive full benefits and that the documents were simply not updated, and outlined medical, vision, and dental specifically.

– I signed the contract (big mistake, I know). Now I am hearing from HR that no, I actually will not get benefits.

Is there anything I can do here? I accepted this job mostly because it was a 125% increase from my previous role, but I want them to stick to their word. I should have had her change the contract language, I know. But what can I do now? I would have negotiated a higher salary in that case and honestly feel lied to. I do need the benefits.
