Teenager (not me) working minimum wage job told to attend a mandatory meeting that will not be paid.
I’m pretty sure this is not legal and the time needs to be paid since it is related to her job (training) and not voluntary. No one is being paid for this meeting.
How should she address the situation with her employer without being put on the shit list? Besides this hiccup, it’s been a pretty decent first job and employees are treated well.
