Most of us has received a gift, mostly branded, instead of a bonus or pay rise when the company is doing well.
Here’s what I have received over 4 years on below average pay for skill set and experience.
A chocolate bar, branded with the company logo and a thank you note saying “thanks, we made €500 million turnover.”
A company branded tiny, cheap suitcase with a booklet with photos and diary entries that the c-suite went on – showcasing their amazing vacations I couldn’t afford to go on myself with what they pay me.
Two cheaply made hoodies with company logos.
A wind proof, cheaply made fleece with the company logo.
The nice things:
A nice waterproof laptop back pack, without the company logo – which I actually use. Worth about €50.
A polaroid camera. Worth about €85. Have used this.
And finally, noise cancellation headphones, worth about €40. Times haven’t used these, but I suppose they are a nice back up. I have my own headphones which I use.
What have you received?
