I've witnessed temp staff sitting around doing nothing/on their phones. Rumor has it one actually fell asleep on the job. The boss is aware of all of this. Meanwhile PT and FT staff are busting their asses and getting yelled at even for stopping to have a conversation with customers. No hate against the temp staff as they should milk it for all it's worth. But why is this the case???
