My partner was just notified that he was terminated from his job “effective Friday” (10/27). He was not notified until today, Sunday 10/29 @ 3:20pm. They said it was based on performance but they have no backup documentation of said “performance”. He was just recruited to work on a new project two weeks ago. I told him to save all documentation of all of his conversations. When he got on his laptop, his access was already revoked.
This all seems so sketchy to me. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or insight on what we should do. I really think we might need to get a lawyer.
