My (35m) husband (36m) has been in the icu for 3 weeks now. Granted with him not working I need all the hours I can get. I work for a Midwestern grocery chain with red shirts and I'm Union.
Everyday my boss will always cheerfully ask me how I am, etc.
My husband is in the icu fighting for his life, how TF you think I am? I'm one negative thought away from crying in front of a bunch of strangers. All I want to do is be at the hospital but instead I'm here having to put on a happy face for all the fucking people doing their shopping. Cause God forbid if a worker that is having a rough time show that in anyway.
Just needed to rant, it's been rough.
