There’s no loyalty in corporate America. The CEOs act like they care about you, but if profits aren’t improving or if the stock price drops, they wouldn’t hesitate to lay you off. Especially now with cheaper labor overseas and AI taking human jobs.
So don’t feel like you have to be loyal to the company you work at. Your job is to take care of your family and yourself, and you have to do what’s best for you.
In order to maximize your earnings or getting a significant raise in salary, one of the best methods is to change jobs every 2-3 years. Most companies pay more for new hires than give raises to the current employees. Don’t be afraid to look for other jobs, especially remote work.
Obviously this isn’t true 100% of the time, but more likely than not you’ll get a significant boost in salary.
