First there was the RTO mandate affecting about 50% of the employee base worldwide (regardless of work from home status prior to COVID or if you were hired as a remote employee), which was a thinly veiled way to force people to quit, and last week they let go at least 700 people. The next rumored round of layoffs is on 11/9.
Speculation seems to be if The Cigna Group staggers layoffs, then they don't have to comply with WARN. Is it legal for them to do this?
