I created social media content for my job. During May, I was trying to help my mom avoid being financially abused by my dad. There were other things going on, but I figured they’d at least understand that she needed support because I worked for a finance company. My boss and supervisor told me I needed to stop focusing on family drama and focus on work. She ended up being tricked into signing the house title away to my dad out of fear.
Now they’re doing this superficial campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I wrote like 12 captions for their upcoming content. They terminated me just a couple days ago, but they’re still using my content.
