Long-time lurker on my main account, but I have a serious question or four for you guys:
How do you lot foresee things changing for the better? What can/should be done? For those applicable, does having to work multiple jobs not massively impact your health/sanity? How do you balance work and… well… life?
For some context, I am from a third world country with a terrible economy. $50k/year that some people seem to battle with is an absolute fortune when converted to my local currency.
To compare, I earn approximately $25k/year when converted, working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and while it isn't exactly the life of premium luxury, it's definitely in the upper middle class here. I can afford a nice house, good medical insurance, private schooling and most of the nicer (realistic) things I've seen in the American movies/TV.
My heart goes out to those battling through the trenches here, something needs to change and I sincerely hope there's a golden sky at the end of the storm for all of you.
