I applied for a pharmaceutical company overnights at their distribution center.
Making good money and a good schedule.
Went through the whole process of 2 interviews, walking through the facility without pay to look at how they did things.
Did all the paperwork.
Did all the tests I needed.
Signed the contract.
And waited for the start date on August 7,
August 6 around 11pm
I got an email saying that the position had been filled and thank you.
I tried to get in contact with the team and no answer at all
For a couple of days now I’ve sent emails and called
And nothing at all.
Is this a normal thing companies do?
What happened?
Why would they wait till the last day to send that email?
Do I do anything else or am I screwed?
