After receiving an email two days ago confirming that I got re job I received my contract today. The money is alright, but the hours are amazing and it is in my field of expertise.
I start next month, so all in all I have been unemployed for roughly two months. This is the longest I have ever been unemployed.
Hopefully EI can finally arrive. I applied almost as soon as I was unemployed but they are taking forever so it has been a very lean few months. (Thank goodness for my amazing partner.)
I feel for everyone who has been multiple months without finding work. All I can offer for advice is to be on the ass of these employers & HR goons from day one.
