The only one who has to go into the office?

I’m not necessarily against going into the office, but for some reason that I can’t wrap my head around I’m the only one asked to go in 4 days a week. I work on a sales team and I’m an inside sales representative. This means I work from an office while the sales reps are on the road. However, they aren’t ever on the road and haven’t been since before the pandemic. Not only that, I’m supposed to be working with sales coordinators that come in 4 days a week but they never do. I used to get around this by coming into the office and leaving early or making arrangements to come in the same day as the coordinators, but management caught on and reprimanded me. Even today, my boss calls me to make sure I’m coming to the office. It took me an hour in a rush hour…

Even today, my boss calls me to make sure I’m coming to the office. It took me an hour in a rush hour commute and not only do I come in to an office with none of my coworkers there, my boss isn’t even there.

It just sucks because I feel like I’m held to a standard that no one else is. I don’t mind coming into the office, but what’s the point when none of my coworkers are there? Why spend an hour in stressful rush hour traffic to work alone when I could have been doing so from home?
