The Democratic Establishment has been in power for nearly 2 years, yet took no steps towards Codifying Roe Vs Wade
Now there are two scenarios here which NEED to be considered.
Did this happen because the current establishment is incompetent (which if so, vote/protest them out of power because they let your civil rights erode out of negligence)
Or which I fear is more likely…
Did they knowingly allow women's rights to be taken from them to be used as a political tool in the upcoming election.
Think about it, this will be a major tool for them in the upcoming election and with their current public opinion being low due to the current issues the US is facing, they could make the argument that they need to remain in power or else RoeVsWade will not be fixed.
If the party you support will allow someone else to revoke a woman's bodily autonomy, just to get a few more votes, what else would they be willing to do?
I'm not trying to convince anyone to vote for anyone, I'm just trying to get this clear
The people in power are either incompetent or malicious, there is no other options, you pick which one I don't care, just realize this is reality.
But then again, I could just be sipping to much doomer juice. Give me your takes I'm open to discussions.
