I've been put of work for a while now I fell ass backwards into my last one with my application being the only one since the company used extremely outdated methods for advertising, but I've noticed something.
Ive sent out hundreds of applications most are lost in the flood as soon as the application process opens some are responded to that I was passed up or the position has been filled but the overwhelming majority of them were turn downs and when talking to some people I know work in hr specifically hiring, the ” required work experience” is always far above what's logical for the position
Entry level jobs “require 3 TO 5 YEARS PROIOR EXPERIENCE” How the actual hell am I supposed to find a job to pay for college debt pay for my gas pay for my health care. I'm fucked and I'm mad about it now, for 3 years I studied my ass off and now I can't even break into an industry becise of how fucked capitalism is
I remember laughing when I saw 1 year prior experience on entry level positions a few years ago but 3 to 5 !?!? What the actual hell are we expected to do
