To hell with Arbitration Agreements

As the title states, fuck em. My prior post here clarifies that I was fired for “insubordination” for refusing straight-up dangerous work almost entirely untrained and that went against multiple safety guidelines. Come to find out, buried deep in my documents I signed when I was a contractor, before I got hired (which I read thoroughly when hired, I figured why not get paid for the whole day instead of bust through everything quick and get home at the time) is a fucking arbitration agreement. Attorney has looked it over entirely and there's no way out really. This is the same company that gave me on-the-job panic attacks, anxiety, stress, I bawled my eyes out in front of other employees because I constantly felt like I was trapped in doing dangerous work I had pointed out numerous times to the supervisors as being dangerous, against the rules, and uncomfortable doing.…

This is the same company that gave me on-the-job panic attacks, anxiety, stress, I bawled my eyes out in front of other employees because I constantly felt like I was trapped in doing dangerous work I had pointed out numerous times to the supervisors as being dangerous, against the rules, and uncomfortable doing. My body shook every day in anxiety and multiple times I couldn't stand still from it. I couldn't even drive home some days due to it. They called the work station the “blast chamber”, “boom room”, or “ballistic room” as it was extremely high pressure and could blow up. I worked entirely alone in my area as the operators who worked with me, including in that room, had quit. They pushed the job onto me without hiring more people despite saying they were working on it for months. If something happened to me in there literally not a soul would have known. Co workers forgot I was even in my area as it was out of sight of others, and the boom room was sound proof and made with bulletproof glass.

They sent me home with pay some days from how bad my panic attacks were from being forced to do this work. Even the HR department knew about it.

Fuck this shit ass country. Fuck the US.
